Self serve is fine. Dont bother paying for one of the unmotivated bozos to wash your car though. Thoroughly removing the dirt from the surface of a car is obviously far to complex for these guys to contemplate.
I come here all the time. Friendly guys and always do a thorough job.
Never had any trouble here as others have. I've always used the self serve part and it is always working and clean.
About a year ago I took my car to Toowoomba Car & Dog Wash to use one of their DIY wash bays. After cleaning my vehicle, the manager approached & declared that in future "I must not chamois my car dry in the wash bay area afterwards". Instead, he advised that I should move my car away from that area immediately. Fair enough, if there had been a queue of vehicles waiting to use any of the wash bays, I would have done so right away. However, there were no cars waiting! When I politely pointed this out, his lengthy & aggressive ranting response was foul mouthed & abusive. For this reason I would strongly advise you not to take your vehicle to Toowoomba Car & Dog Wash on Ruthven Street. Customers do not deserve to be treated like this by any business. Avoid these guys & go somewhere more deserving of your customer dollar!
I was waiting in a queue to take my car through this car wash. I asked one of the operators for directions to their toilet and was stunned to be told that their toilets were not available to customers. So I had to lock up my car, leave it in the queue and go across the road to a service station to use their toilet, only to be told that their toilet was only available to their customers. That's fair enough, but at least they had toilet facilities for their customers, unlike this car wash. When I returned to my car and my turn came for the wash, I wanted to pay with my Visa Debit Card but was told there was a surcharge for using a card. I pointed out to the operative that it was not a CREDIT card but a DEBIT card and that I had never ever been charged extra for using it at any other business, but he insisted that there would be a charge. At this point I'd had enough so I left the car wash after advising the operator that he had lost both my wife and myself as customers - for ever. After all there's several car wash facilities in Toowoomba so one of them will be getting my business in future.
