This place is just around the corner from our house so convience is good, BUT the spend $5 rule on your card is an issue. Today ( as a regular ) i go in, buy a block of butter & 2 btls of Coke at $8.45 while its processing on our Credit Card I ask if I can get out $20 cash on another card. He then proceeds to tell me I have to spend another $5... hello I just purchased goods! Its not my fault Heritage took out the ATM and Spar Express isnt getting one in till Wednesday! The guy decided to let it go but if Id spent another $5 he would have been happy. People dont carry much cash anymore and you wouldnt have a business without an Eftpos machine youd go broke its just a rule to get people to spend more money. For the moral of it youve lost 2 customers because if I see my husband in there hes dead!! Lol
Super friendly staff and always have what we need at a very convenient price. Trading hours make them very accessible and their hot box and fresh food items are great for meals on the go.
