I often buy products at Harvey Norman but my last few shopping experiences (left without purchasing) have been a little too fast talking and patronising. Please watch your tones and calling older customers luv. Normally I don't mind that term, but the tone can make it dismissive. I have had some very helpful staff over the last 20 years but am considering shopping elsewhere. Perhaps staff are being directed to be more aggressive for sales but it is counterproductive.
Went to buy two new mobile phones, staff member very rude and appeared to be bored. You would think spending over $2000 you would get a courteous service. Your staff Harvey Norman need training to be helpful and friendly and not bring their bad mood to work. Will not be going back this experience was awful.
I'm giving this 5 star rating to Peter who works in refrigeration in the Toowoomba store. I purchased a refrigerator last week and it had a gas leak. Peter is swapping my refrigerator over without any quibbles at all. It's refreshing to be served by such a professional team member.
Literally cannot recommend Harvey Norman Toowoomba enough. 10/10 for customer service! The minute we walked through the doors we were greeted by John. He helped us find the right laptop for both my partner and my needs at the best possible price. John sat with us and everything in detail. So helpful and polite!
