Received a customers expensive engine block that looked like it had skidded down the road and is now scrap metal. They are saying because we signed for it they wont do anything about it. The trouble is the driver goes to the office tells them they need a skid unloaded which is wrapped in plastic so you cant see contents properly, and get office staff to sign. We have video footage of skid being unloaded and placed in shop and footage of it staying there till we unwrap it to find damage, but they still deny damaging it
