Had an extended appt with my GP today. Had an ECG. Follow up in her rooms. Path requests written. Scripts written. Letter written detailing my current meds for our impending travel. Long discussions about relevant issues. Session ended with a heart felt hug. I chose Dr Borojevic many years ago because I was so impressed by her compassion and concern when she visited one of my pts. She is an angel and I love her. So what happened when I went to settle account ? My beautiful GP had bulk billed me I felt conflicted Here was I taking up her precious time and she did this. Guess thats why I fell in love with her in the first place Totally in this profession for the right reasons. Love you Spomenka Doesnt matter how busy she is you never feel like she is pushing you out the door. Probably goes without a break most days from what I have observed over the years. I remember what she said to me many yrs ago when she visited my facility. I told her how wonderful I felt she was. To give extended time and heartfelt care to our elderly. She responded by saying. My parents in Yugoslavia are elderly and I would like to think that someone would take that time and care with them. You always have a wait to see Spomenka when you visit her practice. Child not friendlyThis is my son's name. He is 9 years old.My son went there for getting the wart out from his toe. Dr Margaret Hughes treated but was not accurate. He had swollen skin which is just normal area around the wart was shot by liquid nitrogen. I made a complaint letter to the clinic but the head of doctor responded that Dr Margaret did appropriate treatment. I would put the photo as evidence if there is a function on the website. I was not still happy with the response so that I asked if you knew the pain will be predicted why she didn't explain about the pain and they responded that the explanation will over worry young children. I googled and researched about cryotherapy. Many websites say that it is not suitable for children. Also when the first time I took my son to another GP, he was laughing while the treatment. My son needed to take a treatment in Toowoomba as well because he lives in 2 houses. I assume that Dr Margaret did the same treatment as adult takes and even not accurate. I didn't get an apology through the correspondence and decided to tell other people using here especially I don't want children be hurt.
Doctor Spomenka is AMAZING. 1 star review is for reception. wait times are nuts with no notice and they dont tell the dr your in so she takes in the people after your appointment. They also dont get the results from other dr surgeries and xray places like the dr asked for and I have to end up ringing around asking for results to be sent.
The doctors here are amazing and always professional. There isn't a long wait time and if you can't get an appointment with your regular doctor you can see one of the other doctored who are amazing.
No problem with the wait. I know that when I see the dr I will also get the wonderful thorough consideration that they have given to other patients. Your care and attention to a fully professional service is greatly appreciated. I would wait as long as it takes to have such care. Thank you very much.
